The Russian River Valley in Sonoma has a well deserved reputation for pinot noirs with ripe flavours and supple palates.Given to warm days and cool nights, pinot noir here achieves full flavour maturity without becoming overripe. This is a wine with luscious cherry fruit flavors and an enticing sense of richness in the mouth.Over twelve months aging in French oak barrels without being pumped,and the gentlest handling enroute to the bottle,has helped preserve subtle character and texture in the wine.While drinking beautifully now,it can support up to five years additional cellaring if desired.
