This pure Sangiovese takes its name from the vineyard it comes from, Felciaia (meaning “fern bed” in Italian, for ferns abound in the area).
From choice fruit and small crops, 12 months’ aging in barriques and 6 months’ bottle age fine-tune its intrinsic excellence, yielding a complex red of supple, fruity aromas with hints of spices and a velvety, full, persistent palate.
